The APAC Tours Operations department is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual for the position of Data Project Specialist APAC to join our Asian hub in Tokyo Japan ASAP.

■What you’ll do
・ Anticipate requirements uncover areas of improvement and develop optimization strategies for systems processes and workflows
・ Provide and organize data build and manage reports and tools to support team decisions and efficiency
・ Develop reports and dashboards （PowerBI and Tableau）
・ Write and execute SQL queries
・ Help automate manual and complex processes using AI tools
・ Build relationships with key partners and routinely present proposals and results
・ Lead and manage small to medium scale systems or process transformation projects ensuring clear planning execution stakeholder alignment and successful delivery

You have an analytical strategic and innovative mindset and thrive in collaborative settings. You are passionate about improving internal operations processes and deriving insights for data driven business decisions with the end goal of creating an even more beautiful customer experience.

■We're looking for:
・ Technical Analytical Skills
・ Strong data analytics abilities including interpreting complex datasets
・ Expertise in analyzing transforming and consolidating structured and unstructured data
・ Ability to effectively use SQL Atlassian Jira and MS Power Platform
・ Experience developing reports/dashboards in PowerBI and Tableau
・ Experience with Power Automate or low code automation tools
・ High proficiency in MS Office tools particularly Excel
・ Project Process Leadership
・ Project management experience leading system or process transformation initiatives
・ Ability to translate business needs into clear structured system requirements
・ Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects

■Experience
・ 2 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst Data Analyst or BI Developer
・ Preferred financial background to support data driven decision making

■Requirements
・ Permission to work in Japan. Sponsorship possible under certain conditions
・ Native or highly proficient English and ideally at least intermediate Japanese speaking skills
