Product Manager

Scope of responsibility
In Japan, develop and implement strategies to address technical challenges when deploying Powerwall home battery storage systems and home EV chargers on a large scale.
Lead and drive product launches for products targeting the Japanese market.
Lead the way in addressing interconnection requirements for power grids and related laws and regulations, including the Fire Service Act, and promote the acquisition of various safety certifications necessary for obtaining subsidies.
Research and effectively communicate technical product requirements to product management teams in the US, Australia, and other regions.
To establish VPP services in Japan, I will be responsible for formulating technology strategies, creating planning documents, proposing and coordinating with overseas headquarters, and driving development through to execution (including customer education and policy/institutional coordination).

Obtain a degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in engineering/technical roles

Experience developing products and applications in collaboration with members at overseas locations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, particularly the ability to summarize important information to the point.
Practical experience in renewable energy (batteries, EVSE, solar power, etc.)
