Job Description
Linux Systems Administration
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers
Perform system updates, patching, kernel upgrades, and performance tuning
Manage user accounts, permissions, and system security hardening
Automate routine tasks using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and shell scripting
Storage Management
Administer enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, DAS)
Manage storage provisioning, LVM, RAID, multipathing, and filesystem
performance
Monitor storage capacity, performance, and growth planning
Support NFS, SMB, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel environments
Collaborate with vendors on storage-related incidents and upgrades
Backup & Recovery
Design, implement, and maintain backup and restore strategies
Administer backup solutions
Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA compliance
Perform and document regular restore tests and disaster recovery drills
Maintain backup retention policies and compliance requirements
Operations & Reliability
Monitor system health, logs, and alerts using monitoring tools
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response
Document system architectures, procedures, and operational runbooks
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Collaborate with security teams to ensure data protection and compliance

Required Skills
Must-have
Over 5 years of practical experience in roles such as a System Administrator or
Infrastructure Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration
Solid understanding of storage technologies (SAN/NAS, RAID, LVM)
Practical experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions
Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
Experience with scripting (Bash, Python)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
