【業務内容】

　IT Data Center Team is seeking an engineer to oversee the operation and management of infrastructure environments, including on-premises and cloud environments within Japan.

 In this role, you will work across a wide range of technical areas—including networking, servers (Windows/Linux), virtual environments, storage, backup, and cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.)—and be responsible for the operation and improvement of hybrid environments.

 You will also be responsible for supporting implementation, migration, and operational design for the following ongoing infrastructure renewal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Nutanix/Cisco UCS Deployment Support:
   •  Support for the deployment of Nutanix-based virtual infrastructure and Cisco UCS servers
   •  Support for deployment and operational launch in collaboration with vendors (Cisco, Net One Systems)
   •  Support for migrating virtual machines from the existing VMware environment to Nutanix
2.  Backup Infrastructure (Veeam) Deployment Support:
   •  Support for the design and implementation of a backup environment using Veeam
   •  Support for integrating backups into the new virtual infrastructure (Nutanix)
3.  Support for upgrading or decommissioning servers running end-of-life operating systems (full year):
   •  Support for upgrading or decommissioning end-of-life OS servers (Windows/Linux)
   •  Inventory of target servers and support for migration planning
4.  Cloud Infrastructure Operation and Optimization:
   •  Operational support for AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, etc.
   •  Organization of AWS accounts and support for global integration
5.  Preparation for and migration support for the next infrastructure update at Fujitsu data centers:
   •  Preparation and migration support for the next infrastructure update at Fujitsu data centers
   •  Reviewing configurations to reduce vendor lock-in
6. Support for migrating the consolidated file server to NetApp:
   • Preparation and support for migrating the consolidated file server from Dell to NetApp

Qualifications

Language:     Japanese-N3 level needed           English-Business level

1. Education:
   •  Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent knowledge and experience
2. Experience:
   •  5+ years of data center or infrastructure operations experience
3.  Technical Skills:
   •  Basic knowledge of virtual infrastructure (VMware, Nutanix, etc.)
   •  Basic knowledge of servers and storage
   •  Experience operating Windows and Linux servers
   •  Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
4.  Certifications (Preferred):
   •  Basic Information Technology Engineer
   •  LinuC Level 3
   •  AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
   •  Azure Solutions Architect Expert
   •  Oracle Database Bronze DBA
   •  Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
   •  TOEIC score of 600 or higher
5.  Soft Skills:
   •  Ability to collaborate within a team and coordinate with vendors
   •  Ability to maintain documentation and create operational procedures

6.  Work Environment:

 Must be able to work at the Gunma R&D Center at least three times a week
