Job Description
We are looking for a BMS Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Tridium Niagara and Building Management Systems (BMS). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating building automation solutions, with a focus on HVAC controls, smart building technologies, energy management, and system connectivity.
You will work closely with customers, contractors, and project teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and future-ready building automation systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and configure BMS applications using Tridium Niagara N4, including control logic, graphics, and system functionality.
Design and implement control strategies for HVAC, chiller plant, and other building systems.
Integrate equipment and third-party systems through open communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and other industry-standard interfaces.
Conduct site surveys to assess existing systems and determine integration requirements for retrofit and new installation projects.
Create technical documentation including control narratives, point lists, integration specifications, testing documents, and project reports.
Perform system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation to ensure successful project delivery.
Support the deployment of BMS servers, controllers, and network-connected devices within customer IT environments.
Coordinate with project stakeholders and provide technical guidance during installation, startup, and handover phases.
Assist in developing smart building and cloud-connected solutions for monitoring, analytics, and energy optimization.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara N4 development and implementation.
Experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Building Management Systems (BMS).
Background in HVAC, chiller plant, energy management, or commercial building systems is preferred.
Experience in system commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
