Japanese IT Interpreter (JLPT N2 or Above) | 12-Month Contract

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary Range: THB 55,000 – 70,000 per month

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Japanese Interpreter to act as a key communication link between Japanese consultants, Thai development teams, and business users throughout a system implementation project. This role involves interpreting and translating between Thai and Japanese, supporting project coordination, and ensuring smooth communication across all stakeholders to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate Thai-Japanese interpretation and translation during project meetings, requirement-gathering sessions, system implementation activities, and issue-resolution discussions.

• Translate a wide range of project-related materials, including technical documentation, meeting minutes, user requirements, project reports, and action items.

• Handle terminology related to IT systems, software development, ERP solutions, and manufacturing operations while maintaining a project-specific glossary for consistency.

• Support effective day-to-day communication between Japanese consultants, Thai developers, and client users to ensure clear understanding and alignment.

• Monitor project issues and follow up on assigned action items with relevant stakeholders.

• Escalate unresolved concerns or project risks to the Project Manager when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Japanese, Translation & Interpretation, Information Technology, or a related field.

• JLPT N2 or N1 certification with strong Japanese language communication skills.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Japanese Interpreter, ideally within the automotive industry.

• Prior involvement in IT, ERP, or manufacturing system implementation projects is highly desirable.

• Good understanding of manufacturing operations and industry terminology.

• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability and willingness to work on-site at client locations.
