What to Expect:
This role will support sites in both Japan and Australia with Japan being the primary focus; the candidate must be fluent in verbal and written Japanese. The role is open to candidates in both Japan and Australia.

The global energy market is currently undergoing a once in a generation transformation. Tesla Energy is at the forefront of this transition deploying massive BESS systems across the APAC region helping to stabilize electrical grids and reduce carbon emissions.

The Tesla Energy Network Engineering Team is key to ensuring these critical assets are online and operating day and night without fail.
Tesla are seeking a motivated network engineer to be part of the multi functional OT team in APAC. The ideal candidate will specialize in network engineering with experience in network automation. OT experience and server experience are preferred but not required.

This role will provide networking and server implementation management and automation and will contribute to a global network architecture ensuring we meet internal and external customer requirements and industry regulations.

■What You’ll Do:
・ Deploy networks for new industrial energy sites for both Japanese and Australian regions
・ Maintain current network solutions within industrial energy sites
・ Work closely with other Network and Server Engineers on designs and initiatives
・ Function as a Tier 2 3 escalation point
・ Gather requirements analyse and propose solution to networking needs
・ Provision implement test/validate and maintain networking services per existing designs
・ Conduct product POC evaluation
・ Monitor analyse and report metrics of network services
・ Document processes and information in a knowledgebase and operational run books
・ Implement automation to speed up processes
・ Participate in on call rotation
・ 15% travel required as necessary if within Japan up to 50% travel required if not
・ Must be able to work occasional weekends after hours and holidays
・ Must be able to lift 55lbs/25kg

１．エネルギー業界での経験があれば尚可。生産設備や製造業向けネットワークインフラの実務経験1年以上。
２．IPネットワーク、L2/L3ネットワークプロトコル（Spanning Tree、OSPF、BGP、産業用リングプロトコルなど）、TCP/IP、DHCP、DNS、エンドツーエンドQoS/CoS（産業用リアルタイムプロトコル向け）、VLAN、VRRP、LACP、SD WAN、EVPN/VXLAN、ACL、アプリケーションフロー制御、NAC、およびネットワーク配線に関する運用経験。
３．Cisco IE（IOS、IOS XE/IOx）、Hirschmann、Siemens、Beckhoff、Moxa、N Tron、Red Lionなどの産業用スイッチ製品に関する運用経験。
Juniper、Aristaなどの一般的なネットワークスイッチ製品の利用経験。
CIP Ethernet/IP、PROFINET、BACnet、EtherCAT、MODBUSなどの産業用通信プロトコルの実務経験。
４．Cisco Zone Based Firewall、Juniper SRX、Palo Alto Networks、Fortinetなどのファイアウォール製品に関する経験。アプリケーション検査、IPsec VPN、URLフィルタリング、IDS/IPSの運用経験を含む。

・ドキュメント作成・管理を重視できる方。

・社内外のステークホルダーとの優れたコミュニケーション能力。
