PT Senior Finance Specialist | Global Consumer Goods Company

The finance organization is currently seeking experienced finance professionals to support ongoing strategic and operational finance initiatives. The company is open to candidates specializing in either FP&A or Finance Operations, as well as professionals with experience across both areas.

Position Overview

We are looking for experienced finance professionals who can contribute on a contract, freelance, outsourced, or temporary basis.

The position offers significant flexibility and is suitable for candidates looking to supplement existing consulting projects, work part-time, or engage in a long-term finance assignment within a multinational environment.

Project Duration

Initial engagement is expected to continue through December 2026, with potential extension depending on project needs and performance.

Option 1: FP&A / Business Case Analyst

Responsibilities

• Variance analysis (Actual vs Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year)
• Development of business cases and investment proposals
• ROI analysis and financial modeling
• Financial simulations and scenario planning
• Management reporting and performance analysis
• Supporting commercial and strategic decision-making through financial insights
• Collecting, structuring, and analyzing incomplete business information

Requirements

• Experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Analysis, Financial Planning, or Management Reporting
• Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities
• Experience developing business cases and ROI assessments
• Ability to interpret ambiguous or incomplete business data
• Business-level Japanese
• Ability to communicate and report in English

Option 2: Finance Operations & Reporting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Month-end closing activities
• Accrual calculations and journal entry processing
• Review and validation of ERP financial postings
• Financial reporting and reporting package preparation
• Supporting the accuracy and timeliness of financial results
• Coordination with finance stakeholders regarding actual performance reporting

Requirements

• Experience with month-end closing processes
• Accrual accounting and journal entry experience
• Experience using SAP or other ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Financial reporting experience
• Business-level Japanese
• English reading and writing proficiency
