Job Description

Role Overview development

Seeking an experienced Radar & Ultrasonic Specialist to support the development, integration, validation, and deployment of ADAS features for automotive customers in Japan. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for radar and ultrasonic sensing technologies and support customer deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support integration and validation of 77-79 GHz Automotive Radar and Ultrasonic Sensors.
  • Analyze Radar Physics, Radio Wave Propagation, RF Interference, and Sensor Performance.
  • Conduct vehicle-level testing, calibration, debugging, and issue investigation.
  • Support ADAS functions including:
    • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
    • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
    • Lane Keep Assist (LKA)
    • Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
    • Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
    • Automated Parking Assist (APA)
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve sensor-related system issues.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive radar regulations and standards.
  • Work directly with OEM customers during development, validation, and deployment phases.

  • SOTIF (Preferred)

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automotive, Telecommunications, Physics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Automotive ADAS/Radar/Ultrasonic development.
  • Experience supporting OEM customer projects is preferred.

Language

  • Business English (Mandatory)
  • Japanese (JLPT N4/N3) is added advantage

Work Location

  • Japan (Customer Onsite)
  • Customer-facing role with deployment and validation support activities.
