Roles and responsibilities:-
Lead the injection molding team and oversee production processes to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and timely output.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate upkeep of injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.
Develop and implement production schedules aligned with customer requirements and delivery timelines.
Train and mentor new employees on process standards, machine handling, and safe working practices.
Manage inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods to support smooth production planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify, address, and resolve production-related issues.
Coordinate with all shifts to ensure seamless handovers, effective communication, and continuity of operations.
Prepare and submit daily production reports accurately and within defined timelines.
Analyze production challenges using structured problem-solving techniques and prepare reports for review meetings.
Conduct daily review meetings and assign weekly targets to shift engineers.
Apply basic knowledge of problem-solving techniques to support process improvement activities.
Demonstrate basic understanding of maintenance metrics such as MTBF and MTTR.
Maintain awareness of key maintenance documentation and standard reporting requirements.
Possess basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management standards.
Understand key auxiliary equipment used with molding machines, including MTC, chiller, robot, and dryer systems.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of plastics used in the automobile industry.
Troubleshoot production issues related to raw materials and support corrective actions.
