COMPANY BACKGROUND

Our Client Company is a well-established Engineering Solutions Provider for Semiconductor and High-Tech Manufacturers on setting up of Semiconductor Equipment, Facilities Systems as well as Factory Automation Solutions, with main customer base targeting on global semiconductor foundries and chipmakers. The organization is hiring a well experienced Project Engineer with technical knowledge, project cost management as well as performance monitoring capabilities.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain project cost baselines, including labour, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.

• Verify supplier and vendor invoices and claims to ensure accurate recording of project expenditures.

• Monitor project spending against approved budgets and forecast cost at completion.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and support effective budget management.

• Prepare regular cost and performance reports for project managers, clients, and stakeholders.

• Track project scope changes and evaluate their impact on project budgets and schedules.

• Proactively identify financial and scheduling risks and support mitigation efforts.
   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possesses Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering or related field.

• Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in project engineering and project management, experience in overseeing projects in semiconductor industry would be added advantage.

• Strong technical engineering knowledge as well as problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels.

• Proficiency in project management and cost control tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or advanced Microsoft Excel.
