Senior IT Analyst
Role Overview
A leading global company is seeking a Senior IT Analyst  to join its IT Department. The role focuses on providing IT and digital consulting, coordination, and governance support across the European region, particularly for subsidiaries and affiliated companies. The successful candidate will also support strategic planning and administrative activities within the department.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support IT and digital projects across regional group companies.

  • Advise on IT governance, management standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Support regional implementation of global IT and digital initiatives.

  • Deliver IT management training and conduct IT due diligence activities.

  • Assist with post-merger IT integration projects.

  • Provide guidance on IT strategy, infrastructure, business applications, and resource planning.

  • Coordinate stakeholders and facilitate communication across business units.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (preferred).

  • Project management certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP are advantageous.

  • Strong IT coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Solid understanding of:

    • Networks

    • Servers

    • Virtualization

    • Security

    • Active Directory

    • Enterprise applications

  • Advanced project management capabilities.

  • Excellent spoken and written English.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

  • Knowledge of IT frameworks and regulations such as:

    • ISO 27001

    • GDPR

    • NIST

    • COBIT

    • TOGAF

    • ITIL

    • SOX

    • PCI-DSS

 

Preferred Experience
  • Project coordination and project management experience.

  • ERP implementation and management experience, especially SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.

  • IT audit experience.

  • Accounting knowledge or experience.

  • Professional network within the UK IT industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within Europe and occasionally to other regions.
