Our client is looking for an AI Application Engineer to drive the design, development, and implementation of enterprise AI solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional with strong experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud-based application development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end AI applications, collaborating with stakeholders to define use cases, and developing proof-of-concepts that demonstrate business value and technical feasibility.

• Build and deploy AI-driven applications using Generative AI and LLM technologies.

• Develop scalable end-to-end solutions across frontend, backend, APIs, and enterprise integrations.

• Design and implement agent-based AI solutions, including multi-agent workflows and intelligent automation capabilities.

• Integrate AI applications with enterprise data sources, business platforms, and external services.

• Develop solutions leveraging RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, and AI search technologies.

• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with cloud-native architecture best practices.

• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative approaches where relevant.

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and convert requirements into AI-enabled solutions.

• Assess opportunities for AI adoption and propose suitable implementation strategies.

• Lead workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution design discussions.

• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle from discovery through deployment.

• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate AI use cases and technical approaches.

• Create demonstrations and showcase environments to support solution discussions.

• Contribute to proposals and presentations by articulating solution benefits, architecture, and implementation methodology.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML development, or a related technical role.

• Strong experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as React, FastAPI, and/or Flask.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Prompt engineering

  • Embeddings

  • Vector databases and vector search

  • AI search solutions

• Experience working with AI agent frameworks, intelligent automation platforms, and multi-agent orchestration.

• Familiarity with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI development frameworks.

• Experience with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Exposure to Azure OpenAI Services and enterprise AI solution development.

• Understanding of containerisation, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Passion for emerging AI technologies and continuous learning.

• Prior exposure to financial services, trading environments, or supply chain industries will be advantageous.
