Good WLB - UX/UI Designer

Join a product-focused team responsible for creating intuitive and impactful digital experiences for users in Japan. This role offers end-to-end ownership of UX/UI design, from problem definition and user flows through to high-fidelity designs and final specifications.

Description

• Lead UX and UI design initiatives for product features from discovery through delivery
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into clear user goals, flows, and interaction models
• Contribute to design briefs by defining context, opportunities, objectives, and scope
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle
• Create designs within a shared design system to maintain consistency across the product
• Collaborate with UX Writers and Researchers to incorporate user insights into design decisions
• Produce high-fidelity UI designs, prototypes, and detailed design specifications
• Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices

• Understanding of Japanese users and customer expectations
• Experience in UX/UI product design for web-based products
• Demonstrated end-to-end design capabilities, from problem definition through final UI delivery
• Strong experience collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams
• Ability to communicate effectively in Business English
• Experience working within established design systems is highly valued
• Strong portfolio showcasing product design work and user centered thinking
