Role Summary

We are looking for a Junior SAP CO Consultant to support SAP implementation and support projects. The ideal candidate should possess foundational knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) processes and be fluent in both Japanese and English. The role requires supporting business users, facilitating communication between Japanese and global teams, translating business requirements, and assisting in SAP CO configuration, testing, and support activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP CO implementation, enhancement, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from Japanese stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements, meeting discussions, and project documentation between Japanese and English.
• Support configuration and testing activities related to SAP CO modules.
• Assist with Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Product Costing, and CO-PA processes.
• Prepare functional specifications, test cases, and training documents.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, and production support activities.
• Coordinate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to resolve issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to Controlling processes.
• Provide user support and conduct knowledge transfer sessions when required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English.
• Experience translating business and technical discussions between Japanese and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting SAP implementation, rollout, or AMS projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of SAP CO experience.
• Basic understanding of SAP Controlling processes and configuration.
• Knowledge of Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Centers, and Product Costing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English.
• Experience translating business and technical discussions between Japanese and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting SAP implementation, rollout, or AMS projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP CO certification is an added advantage.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of integration between SAP CO and FI modules.
• Prior experience working with Japanese customers or in a Japanese business environment
