Senior Software Engineer JAVA

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and operation of large-scale platform services.

In this role, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems. Beyond software development, you will participate in architectural decisions, mentor team members, and help improve engineering processes and productivity.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and platform components.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and maintainability.

• Design and review application architecture for cloud-based systems.
• Contribute to technology decisions and long-term platform improvements.
• Identify scalability, security, and performance concerns early in the development process.
• Support modern architecture patterns including microservices and event-driven systems.

• Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices.
• Improve system quality through testing, monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Support efforts to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in design discussions, planning sessions, and technical reviews.
• Foster a collaborative and learning-oriented engineering culture.

• Leverage modern development tools and automation to improve efficiency.
• Explore emerging technologies and engineering practices that enhance team productivity.
• Contribute to improvements in development workflows, testing, and documentation.

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and building large-scale web or enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing APIs and integrating multiple systems.
• Understanding of software design patterns, testing strategies, and code quality practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Experience with Spring Batch.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with messaging and event-streaming technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Frontend development experience using React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with large-scale data platforms or analytics systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
