Software Developer

【Position Outline】
The Software Engineer will own the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - from requirement analysis and design through development, QA, deployment, and DevOps/SRE. Specific responsibilities will vary by project, business focus, and candidate background. English fluency is required; Japanese is a plus.

【Responsibilities】

• Work with the Tech Lead to understand requirements and contribute to design discussions
• Participate in low-level design with Tech Lead, SRE, and QA Design and implement scalable and efficient backend features
• Write unit tests and ensure code reliability
• Conduct code reviews with the Tech Lead
• Manage deployments and rollbacks across DEV, STG, and PROD
• Monitor systems after release and fix issues when needed
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business teams
• Support and mentor junior developers

• ジュニアエンジニアのサポートおよびメンタリングを行う

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise indesigning, building, and leading scalable backend systems.
• Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable micro-services architectures.
• Hands-on leadership experience with containerization and orchestration
• technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, for deploying, operating, and scaling distributed systems in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks, including Java; experience with React, PHP, and Python is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong collaborative mindset and a proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• ソフトウェア開発の実務経験5年以上：スケーラブルなバックエンドシステムの設計、構築、およびリードに関する高い専門知識を有すること。
• マイクロサービスアーキテクチャの構築実績：スケーラブルなマイクロサービスアーキテクチャの設計、開発、デプロイにおける確かな実績。
• コンテナ・オーケストレーション技術の経験：DockerやKubernetesを活用し、本番環境における分散システムのデプロイ、運用、スケーリングを主導した実践的な経験。
• モダンな開発言語への習熟：Javaをはじめとするモダンなプログラミング言語およびフレームワークへの深い理解。（React、PHP、Pythonの経験があれば尚可）
• 高いコミュニケーション能力：複雑な技術的概念を、相手のバックグラウンドに合わせて分かりやすく説明できる能力。
• 協調性とチームワーク：チームの一員として効果的に業務を推進できる、高いコラボレーション意識。

Desired Skills

• Hands-on experience with data engineering principles, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and working with large datasets.
• Extensive experience with distributed computing concepts and technologies (e.g.,
• Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis.).
• Familiarity with various database technologies, including relational and NoSQLdatabases.
