Job Description
A Japanese construction and engineering firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic market development activities within the semiconductor ecosystem across Europe.
As semiconductor investments continue to grow in Germany and throughout Europe, the company is expanding its engagement with Taiwanese and Korean companies involved in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced technologies, and related supply chains.
The company is looking for a highly networked professional who can build relationships with key industry stakeholders, identify business opportunities, and support long-term market expansion initiatives.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with Taiwanese or Korean companies active in Europe, identifying new business opportunities, and providing strategic market intelligence within the semiconductor and high-tech industries.
This is a relationship-driven role. The successful candidate will leverage existing industry connections and engage directly with decision-makers, executives, and key stakeholders to generate business opportunities and establish long-term partnerships.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with Taiwanese or Korean companies operating in Germany and across Europe
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing sectors
- Build relationships with senior executives, project leaders, and key decision-makers
- Generate market intelligence regarding semiconductor investments, expansion projects, and industry trends
- Establish connections with companies throughout the semiconductor supply chain ecosystem
- Support strategic business initiatives through networking, relationship-building, and market development activities
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Collaborate closely with senior management on market expansion strategies
- Proven experience in Business Development, Strategic Sales, Account Management, Partnership Development, or a related commercial role
- Strong professional network within Taiwanese and/or Korean companies
- Demonstrated success in developing business opportunities through relationship building
- Experience engaging with senior executives and key decision-makers
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
- Business-level English communication skills
- Native or fluent Korean or Mandarin Chinese language skills
