Our client is a well-established organization seeking a skillful in Information Technology & Cybersecurity leader to define and drive the organisation’s security strategy, ensuring the protection of critical information assets while enabling business growth.
This role requires a strong balance of leadership, strategic vision, and execution capabilities, with sufficient technical depth to guide teams and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Security Strategy & Leadership
Develop and drive a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap aligned to business priorities
Convert organisational goals into practical security initiatives, considering risk, cost, and efficiency
Provide guidance on evolving cyber risks, trends, and best practices
Lead and shape a capable, high-performing cybersecurity team
2. Risk, Governance & Compliance
Design and uphold organisation-wide security governance structures
Manage the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of security risks across systems and data
Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards
Present security risks, performance insights, and key metrics to senior stakeholders
3. Security Delivery & Operations
Drive the rollout and execution of security programmes, controls, and technologies
Maintain strong incident management capabilities, including coordination during critical events
Continuously enhance the organisation’s security posture through reviews and improvement plans
Support secure implementation of new technologies and business initiatives
4. Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
Serve as the key link between technical teams and business leadership
Advise and influence senior management on cybersecurity strategy and investments
Work across departments to integrate security into day-to-day operations
5. Team Development & Culture
Lead recruitment, development, and mentoring of cybersecurity professionals
Ensure the team is equipped with the right expertise and resources
Foster a culture of security awareness across the organisation
Requirements
Extensive experience in cybersecurity, information security, or technology risk leadership roles
Proven ability to define and execute enterprise-wide security strategies
Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience at senior levels
Solid understanding of security frameworks, governance, and risk management
Sufficient technical knowledge to guide architecture, controls, and security operations
