Job Title: Solutions Architect – Digital Infrastructure

Overview

A global IT services organization is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead large-scale infrastructure service deals. This role focuses on driving end-to-end presales strategy, shaping competitive solutions, and engaging key stakeholders to secure complex outsourcing projects.

The position plays a critical role in aligning technical, commercial, and customer requirements across multiple service domains, contributing directly to business growth in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end presales activities for large infrastructure deals (RFP/RFI/RFQ/RFS)
• Develop winning strategies in collaboration with sales, bid management, and technical teams
• Design competitive and scalable solutions across infrastructure service lines
• Define pricing strategies and commercial structures aligned with customer needs
• Present and defend solutions, financials, and value propositions in client workshops
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and client decision-makers
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams (cloud, cybersecurity, networks, workplace, etc.)
• Contribute to regional and global strategic initiatives

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure presales
• Proven success in winning large and complex outsourcing deals
• Experience as a solution or deal architect in enterprise environments
• Expertise in multiple areas such as:
  • Cloud / Hybrid Infrastructure
  • Digital Workplace
  • Cybersecurity
  • Network Services
  • IT Service Management
• Strong experience supporting enterprise clients in industries such as manufacturing, retail, finance, or technology
• Hands-on experience working with enterprise customers in Japan

Key Skills & Experience

• Deep understanding of:
  • Local sourcing practices and expectations
  • Vendor governance frameworks
  • Security, compliance, and regulatory environments
  • Commercial models and contract structures in Japan
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and decision-making processes
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including simplifying complex solutions
• High attention to detail, risk awareness, and execution mindset
• Ability to manage multiple high-pressure pursuits simultaneously
• Collaborative leadership and mentoring capabilities

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field (required)
• Master’s degree (MBA/MS/MTech) preferred

Language Requirements

• Business to native-level Japanese (N1/N2 preferred)
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)

Other

• Willingness to travel within Japan and occasionally internationally
• Flexibility to work across time zones as needed

応募要件

• ITインフラ領域におけるプリセールス経験10〜15年以上
• 大規模アウトソーシング案件の受注実績
• ソリューションアーキテクトまたはディールアーキテクト経験
• 以下いずれか複数領域での専門性：
  • クラウド／ハイブリッドインフラ
  • デジタルワークプレイス
  • サイバーセキュリティ
  • ネットワーク
  • ITサービスマネジメント
• 日本国内のエンタープライズ顧客対応経験
