・がん、及び神経変性疾患を中心とした創薬研究テーマの立案・実施（新規モダリティ中心、低分子創薬も含む）
・新規モダリティを活用・応用した開発候補品の獲得
・In vitro薬理評価系（スクリーニング系、高次評価系）の構築
・化合物スクリーニング、化合物プロファイリングの実施
・医薬品候補化合物の薬効および作用機序研究、バイオマーカー探索
・創薬テーマの共同研究・提携候補先に関する情報収集・評価

・in vitro薬理試験を自ら立案・構築できる能力
・分子生物学・生化学実験スキル（遺伝子組換え実験、タンパク精製等）

・創薬プロジェクトリーダーの経験
・企業あるいはアカデミアとの共同研究主導経験
・海外研究機関の研究者と議論ができる英語力
・がん、神経疾患、代謝・内分泌疾患領域の研究経験・知識
・in vivo試験経験
