The Corporate IT Infrastructure team delivers reliable, high performance global systems that keep the business running seamlessly. As a SAP Senior Application Specialist, you’ll take the lead in designing and optimizing SAP solutions (S/4HANA FI/CO, AA, PS), turning complex business needs into smart, scalable systems. Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP modules, particularly Materials Finance (FI/CO), Asset Accounting (AA), and Project Systems (PS)
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP application architecture and system integrations
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and technical solutions
Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA migration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business processes
Manage and resolve complex incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
Support audit and compliance activities, including documentation and system validation
Mentor junior SAP analysts and deliver user training when required

7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA), including at least two full-cycle implementations
Strong expertise in SAP modules such as FI/CO, Asset Accounting (AA), or Project Systems (PS)
Solid understanding of finance-related business processes
Proven problem-solving ability and capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English
Desired Qualifications:
SAP certification in one or more relevant modules
Experience with SAP development and integration tools (e.g., ABAP, BTP, PI/PO, IDoc, BAPI)
Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud
Familiarity with ITIL practices and project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
Understanding of Japanese business practices and regulatory requirements
Experience working in a global or matrixed organization
