· Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of software products.
· Test Metrics: Define, collect, and analyze test metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the testing process.
· Governance: Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices and provide governance over the testing process.
· Release Management: Coordinate and manage software releases, ensuring that all quality standards are met before deployment.
· Defect Management: Oversee the defect management process, including defect tracking, reporting, and resolution.
· Agile Methodologies: Work within agile teams to integrate testing activities into the development process.
· Jira Management: Utilize Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and project management.
· Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
· Testing Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of test cases, test scripts, and test results to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Test Data Management: Manage and maintain test data to ensure it is accurate, relevant, and secure.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and product owners to conduct walkthroughs and ensure alignment on testing requirements and outcomes.

Qualifications:

· Industry Knowledge: Exposure to the life insurance industry is highly desirable.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jira, defect management tools, and agile methodologies.
· Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and mentoring testing teams.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with automated testing tools.
· Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
· Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
