About the Region

Japan is a strategic region for Cognizant. This role is for Sr. Account Manager who could develop and manage few CommsMedia accounts based out of Japan.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand new relationships in CM space
  • P&L management– sustain and grow business, client services delivery and operations
  • Independently own the portfolio
  • Develop account penetration strategies, develop client relationship, understand their pain points, challenges, and goals
  • Provide thought leadership / innovation to customers
  • Identifying strategic initiatives that help Client’s business achieve their goals and drive transformational programs
  • Ability to position the value proposition and drive delivery excellence initiatives to deliver highest value to the customer
  • Building relationships across various levels in the Client organization and should be able to develop exec level relationships in particular.
  • Ensuring Critical Project delivery oversight;
  • Working two in abox with offshore delivery management team
  • Diligence in all Operational aspects – forecast, bottom line management, pipeline creation
  • Mentoring Cognizant leads and manager and develop a winning team
  • Ensuring clear and timely communication and reporting of status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Anchoring large RFPs and strategize with product vendor or intermediaries as require

スキル・資格

Skills Required

  • Fluent in English and Japanese JLPT-2
  • High-energy individual, self-starter, can think big and a thought leader
  • Seasoned in Delivery Management and customer relationship management Media & Communication domain understanding and being a Media/Communication person is preferred
  • Onsite exposure and customer facing experience is a must preferably in a PL/PM/BD/AM role at onsite
  • Experience in working with clients in APAC region would be an added advantage.
  • Strong Business Development and Relationship skills
  • Good understanding of Software Design Life Cycle, latest IT trends and some delivery exposure
  • Able to connect with key CXO level stakeholders independently and build the relationships
  • Consultative selling skill is key and exposure to Digital, Analytics, H3 are preferred
  • Strong operational discipline – Forecast, P&L management etc
