1. Business Technology Enablement and Support

  • For initiatives of JSS and also across Controllership, work alongside Project Managers and Business Stakeholders to understand their knowledge requirements; research and develop technical solutions to fulfil desired requirements
  • Support the technical elements and systems from Shared Service functions
  • Design and build usable technical solutions including informative dashboards, reporting solutions, workflows and automation processes
  • Optimise the technology at our disposal as well as working with Global teams on new technology deployment initiatives
  • Support the existing suite of reporting and automation solutions as well as the wider GSS group on data modelling and ad-hoc data analytics
  • Manages systems and technology enablement for GSS by working with business areas to determine systems and process improvement needs;

serving as a liaison and point of contact for key stakeholders (for example, ISD, vendors) for technology and systems enablement; gathering and

translating plan requirements for development by ISD; developing, testing, reporting, and executing plans; ensuring compliance with Shared Service Level Agreements (SLA); ensuring system meets customer needs and internal controls (for example, segregation of duties, documentation,

fraud protection); and preparing flowcharts and process narratives for system training.

2. Improvement Strategies and Best Practices

  • Drives systems and process improvements for JSS and other stakeholders in related workflow streams by reviewing customer processes; validating

process flows and key controls to confirm they are functioning as defined by documentation; analyzing current processes for impact on business

performance; researching relevant benchmarking data to identify process gaps and efficiency improvements; assessing immediate and long-term

needs to determine best course of action; facilitating meetings with peers and leadership in other departments to discuss recommendations,

  • Leads systems administration and programming personnel by ensuring team supports customer needs; facilitating communication of business needs

between programmers and business units; creating and implementing new procedures and practices; and defining roles and responsibilities of team members.

  • Evaluate current processes, systems and infrastructure and recommend, develop, test, and implement new or improved end-to-end processes and systems
  • Assess business processes and their associated datasets to understand the limitations and identify opportunities for improvement

3. General Controls

  • Maintain and ensure best practices and high standards of internal controls related to systems and technology used for the day-to-day activities of JSS
  • Partner with  the Governance team, ISD and other leaders on key initiatives in the areas of general systems controls, both financial and non-financial

4. People Leadership/Support Global Controllership Organization Effectiveness

  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders;

supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for

and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.

  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

スキル・資格

  • Technology focused business consultant or similar background
  • To be a naturally inquisitive self-starter, comfortable working without guidance with a strong agility to learn new concepts, techniques and software packages
  • Have a strong interest in data analysis, extract, transform and load techniques
  • A logical approach to problem solving and a good understanding of continuous improvement processes
  • To be able to communicate complex ideas and solutions in a manner appropriate for a variety of audiences
  • Experience in working within a project lifecycle
  • Experience in manipulating large datasets using SQL and automating repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as VBA or VB.Net
  • Ideally have experience in either; dashboard software such as Tableau, Enterprise level automation or workflow creation software
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access is desirable
