Data Center Operator

A candidate will be working on-site at the data center facility and will be responsible for;

Supporting clients visiting the data center with entrance/exit administration, physical security check, escorting to workplace(s), renting equipment required/requested, etc.

Tape management activities (swapping with new tape, keeping old ones in stock, passing used tapes to vendors responsible)

LED review, power on/off, power cable connect/disconnect

Check status of equipment and facilities in the data center visually

Asset and inventory management (including clients’ IT equipment, tools, etc.)

Preparing documentations (i.e. support log report, inventory report, etc.)

Conditions for an Application

Strong interest in joining IT industry (we welcome applicants who are not experienced in relevant support)

Able to work in shift, including night time and holidays

Strong customer support skills

Able to work with colleagues and clients with fluent communication

Native level Japanese is required
