In this exciting role, we are looking for a future leader to become a core member of the Student Services Office for students of the English MBA Program at GLOBIS University, the largest business management school in Japan.
Business professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds are currently studying for an MBA degree on-campus in Tokyo. In order to welcome students from all over the world, we are accelerating the development of the Online MBA Program. Our goal is to create a program and a student community that goes beyond an on-campus and online framework.
We are searching for a new team member in pursuit of our goal to become the No.1 business school in Asia by providing an exceptional MBA program.
Should you join the Student Services Office team, you will be responsible for administrative tasks to support a comfortable learning environment, student/lectures relations, student community development, living/studying support and all other tasks related to services for our students.
We are striving to develop the best learning environment and we expect you to proactively use diverse IT tools, to manage classes held during weekends and to support students living outside of Japan.
For that reason, those interested in IT or have IT related work experience (e.g. have been employed in IT help desks or IS departments) are prefered. However, we also welcome those with less experience in IT who are willing to learn and develop their I.T. skills.
（１）Provide a comfortable learning/teaching environment and services for students and lecturers
○ Prepare course materials for online and on-campus classes and classroom set-up/preparation
○ Perform troubleshooting for online classes
○ Train part-time employees and be responsible for developing and managing work schedules for those employees
○ Collaboration with diverse members among other teams
○ Handle phone calls and emails from students and lecturers
○ Assist visitors at the front desk before/after classes
※You will be able to refer manuals, checklists and regulations in order to manage inquiries/requests from students and lecturers

Requirements and Considerations
・3 to 7 years professional work experience
・Native or equivalent English ability with strong writing skills
・Intermediate Japanese ability (JLPT N2 or above)
・ Strong skills (detail oriented, time management, resourcefulness, organizational) to carry out daily administrative and operational tasks
・Cross cultural communication skills to communicate/develop good relationships with business professionals from diverse backgrounds
・Skills to work closely with internal/external team members, develop high quality services, plan independently and proactively
・Eagerness to utilize, learn and explore IT tools
