【Job Purpose】
As AXA continues its journey to enable first-class software engineering and operations, we are looking for a leader who leads, coaches and mentors a team that continues to explore leading edge technologies, tools and best practices for faster, cheaper, better delivery and superior customer experiences. You will have the opportunity to work in a community (aka DevOps guild) that is leading the DevOps transformation including exciting technology opportunities with cloud, infrastructure as code, and software delivery pipelines.
The DevOps CoE (Center of Expertise) coach will lead, coach, mentor and manage all developers under DevOps CoE team to enhance and further develop their technical and soft skill sets. The members of DevOps CoE will usually be working in a particular squad (aka feature-team) but may also be working for other squads at times to widen their skills and experiences.


【Key Accountabilities】
a) People management
b) Leading, coaching & mentoring
c) Organizing DevOps events, workshops and trainings
d) Recruiting
e) Hiring 
f) KPI reporting 

【Specific Activities】
・Perform personnel management tasks for all directs including hiring, setting objectives, performance reviews, promotions, mentoring, and helping plan career growth
・Maintain high standards of operation quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
・Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
・Support DevOps Guild lead to define standards, enforce best practices, patterns and processes 
・Define, track and report KPIs for DevOps CoE team
・Constantly improve team productivity, refine agile processes, and create methods to increase efficiency
・Plan and organize DevOps events, workshops and trainings to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing 
・Conduct regular 1-on-1 meeting with team members
・Manage software development vendor sourcing and performance
・Promote and support DevOps communities (Community of Practice) to achieve their goals 
・Track workloads of team members and ensure fair, consistent approach of workloads and development to build a highly effective team.
・Participate in new grads recruiting activities at various universities along with HR staffs
・Coach and guide both local and global interns through their internship and helping them learn during their stay 
・Conduct regular meeting with tribe leaders to understand and anticipate the resource demands 
・Define and carry out on-boarding process for new team members
・Effectively communicate and collaborate with a variety of different audiences

スキル・資格

【Requirements】
・Business level Japanese language proficiency
・Business level English language proficiency 
・Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from accredited college/university or equivalent work experience 
・Must have previous management experience or have demonstrable management skills to lead, coach, mentor and manage a team
・Ability to lead by example in DevOps community
・Ability to make good and quick decision
・Excellent communication, negotiation and resource management skills
・Software development experience preferred
・Agile process (e.g. Scrum) experience preferred
・Desire to work in a fast paced, evolving, growing, and dynamic environment
・Curiosity to explore new ideas and passion to make them happen•
・A desire to mentor and coach team members
