A worldwide travel organisation is looking to add to their sales team as part of their continued growth. They are currently looking for a Sales Manager who has a track record of building strong relationships with key accounts.

The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in negotiating terms and pricing structures and understands the importance of maintaining good margins whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.

Our client is a dedicated, worldwide travel company who focus on connecting travel professionals around the world, providing a leading and distinguished service. They have over 40 years of industry experience.

In 2015 and 2016 they made two acquisitions, making them a global supplier of travel and tourism solutions. They have over 130,000 hotels in more than 10,000 destinations throughout the globe, which are accessed by tour operators, travel agents, OTA's, airlines and wholesalers.



Description

- Manage existing key accounts and identify and develop areas for possible growth.
- Be available to discuss service, pricing and terms and show willingness to have tough conversations to ensure margins remain in tact.
- Ensure the company system is up to date regarding supplier/customer terms and interaction.
- Interact with all functions across the businesses to share best practice and follow up on sales leads.
- Close working relationship with Senior Sales Manager and Regional Product Director to ensure business needs are meet.

- Background in travel and tourism industry.
- Experience in sales and account management.
- Experience discussing customer terms and pricing rates. Understand when and when not to offer extended terms / discounts.
- Ability to leverage supplier/customer relationships to get the best rate for the company.
- English and Japanese language.
