The Enterprise Architect will be asked to provide hands-on guidance across Business, Technology and Operations units in support of advancing application, mobile and cloud computing design. This position will also be responsible for establishing design guidelines and frameworks for development teams to adopt as they deliver applications. The Application Architect will be asked to regularly evaluate projects at defined tollgates for accordance with application design standards, articulating project and broader risks where identified and adhere to the target IT architecture standards.
Key Accountabilities/Specific Activities
-Act as technical advisor to global and entity Line of Business, IT, and business customers on Enterprise Architecture capability covering application, infrastructure, cloud, mobile & IoT design topics and discussions, making recommendations for enhancements or modifications to existing applications and systems where appropriate.
-Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies and keep abreast of leading changes in Application, Mobile and wearables/IoT architecture and evaluate impact on blueprints, adjusting road-maps where applicable for adoption/obsolescence
-Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities; ability to "see the big picture" across divisions and business units.
-Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage and influence across departmental lines in a matrix structure in the global structure.
-Ability to effectively and clearly articulate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences, at all levels of the organization.
-Develop and foster relationships with the divisions and business unit subject matter experts
-Coach, mentor and support system development teams in implementing design standards and evolve to FAST IT and DevOps agile culture.
-Collaborate effectively with global IS groups in and Asia being responsible for communicating Application design standards within the Japan
Create, manage and execute application, mobile & cloud application design guidelines and frameworks, updating road-maps where relevant
Create prototype applications and frameworks to physically showcase concepts and ideas to aid broader IT, Operations & Business understanding and buy-in
Develop, publish and achieve adoption by development teams of Application design guidelines and frameworks.
Participate in global enterprise architecture initiatives and help drive global (i.e. cross-division) enterprise architecture goals, initiatives, and IT standards across the company and within division as appropriate
Assist with the selection of vendor products and technologies relevant to application design giving considerations to how those solutions will be used within the broader systems landscape and skill sets required
Engage with project teams to support applying the Application Architecture standards and frameworks
Participate in Architecture governance processes
Review initial project concepts to identify opportunities to apply the design guidelines and frameworks
Solution Architecture design reviews end-to-end across solutions to ensure compliance with the blueprints, standards, and techniques
Working with Global Information Risk Management and Security teams, ensure that risks are appropriately identified, prioritized and mitigated to levels acceptable to management
Produce regular architecture status reports.
Provide architectural consulting to programs, projects and initiatives and help deliver requisite program documentation including program charters, schedules, requirements documents, specifications, design documents and testing strategies.
1.Accreditation Certification in an architecture framework (Certified TOGAF 9 & Certified System Architect) with 15 plus years of qualification experience

4.Application of skill / knowledge
Being acquired Group Target Architecture roadmap and highly advanced Information Technology excellence, able to apply and accelerate local architecture into reality by designing solutions to business requirements in a mid and long term
・More than 5 years general IT experience
・At least 2 years experience in overall architecture discipline (applications, data, technical, etc.)
・Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
Knowlegde, Skills and Abilities
1.Ability to manage across multiple Architectural Domains (Technical, Security, Application, Data, etc.)
2.Ability to mange multiple solutions in the range of 150M yen or more.
3.Ability to design and implement enterprise level solutions encompassing multiple systems including the implementation of new technologies.
4.Good analytical skills and ability to abstract a complex solution
