In this Customer-facing role, you will be in charge of the business development in Japan of a leading European brand of wearable connected lifestyle products.

You will use your market knowledge and communication skills to develop the relationship with the Japanese distributor on behalf of your Client, coordinate product launches and deliver effective meetings and presentations to maximize your Clients' businesses in Japan. 

You will be the Ambassadors for your Client in the Japanese marketplace, and be the lead driver of their growth in Japan. As you will report to your Clients, you will have opportunities to develop your communication with overseas contacts, via email, and possibly Skype and in person during the Clients visits.

You will also be one of the first members of a very young company, small fun and fast growing team, focused on great products and paying attention to individuals.

To the Japanese prospects / partners and/or clients, you shall inspire trust and experience, to stand for your Clients' brands and products. You shall act as your Clients' virtual sales force in Japan, engaging in all aspects of the sales cycle, from forecasting, to new product localisation and promotional online and offline campaigns. Delivering a best-in-class interface to the Japanese counterparts is an absolute requirement.

To your foreign Clients you shall act as their eye and virtual sales force in Japan. You shall be on your Client's side in all circumstances. You shall endeavor to give maximum visibility to your Client(s), including customer contacts etc.

スキル・資格

  • Sales skills (in Japanese, to Japanese Distributors and Clients), preferably to Amazon of mass retailers
  • Basic marketing knowledge (web marketing experience appreciated)
  • Impeccable ethics
  • Good communication skills in Japanese, English business level (or French)
  • One or more of the following:
    • Retail sales
    • Excel skills (Google / Amazon)
    • Project Management
    • Basic usage of Adobe Illustrator, Indesign
    • Google Drive / Google Apps usage experience
    • Marketing / events / PR
