Our client is a renowned European retail brand with strong global presence. Due to a backfill in their Japan business, this is a newly created role that combines business/performance controlling and store operations where they require an interim specialist/consultant to setup a strong function.
Partnering with the local CFO and working closely with store managers and commercial partners you will be responsible for optimizing the selling, controlling costs and maximising profit in the area. Key responsibilities include
Setting goals for the area and the stores as well as making sure that all are working towards them
Follow up on sales and result, monitor deviations and act on it in order to maximize profit in one area.
Establish salary and selling budget for all stores in one area. Educate store management teams on this behalf.
Ensure and follow up the right amount of stock in the right store at the right time.

5+ years experience gained from Retail / FMCG/ Manufacturing
Familiarity with store P/L model
Solid experience in FP&A and ability to drive business performance
Fluent in Business English Communication
Business level Japanese
ERP and BI experience beneficial
