The Country Manager is responsible for managing the Japan Operations, achieving assigned sales goals and coordinating the overall sales activities in given region


Client Details

Our Client is a manufacturer of high capacity optical transmission equipment, using large scale photonic integration to create Digital Optical Networks. They empower network operators to scale bandwidth while accelerating service innovation and automating optical network operations. Service providers, cloud operators, governments and enterprises across the globe rely on our Client's products to create rich end-user experiences based on efficient, high-bandwidth optical networks.


Description

- Design and implement a strategy for Japan by using a direct sales model
- Identify and nurture accounts providing solutions and developing new business while ensuring customer satisfaction and positive ongoing relationships
- Cooperate with other internal teams to provide complete support to accounts or partner
- Manage revenue goals for the Japan region and provides regular updates to senior management overseas
- Gather market intelligence, technology trends in the relevant market and communicate them to headquarter
- Identify, recruit and develop strategic partners
- Stay updated on the current competition and implements strategies to block competitive advancement

- Knowledge of the following market segments is a must: Transmission Infrastructure, SDH, Optical Networks, xWDM, Ethernet and IP, Sub Sea SLTE market including cable systems, and competitors.
- Good understanding of the Telecom industry and its trends
- Strong relationships with the target account
- Good network of relationship with decision makers at targeted accounts
- Experience managing a large team and having responsibility for large regions
- Solution selling skills
- Proven track record in frequently reaching or exceeding sales goals
