Client Overview:

The Company provides seating and electrical distribution systems and related components to automotive manufacturers. Its seating business consists of the design, engineering, just-in-time assembly and delivery of complete seat systems, as well as the manufacture of seat components, including seat structures and mechanisms, seat covers, seat foam and headrests. Its electrical business consists of the design, engineering and manufacturing of electrical distribution systems that route electrical signals and manage electrical power within a vehicle for both traditional powertrain vehicles, as well as high-power for hybrid and electric vehicles. Components of the electrical business include wiring harnesses, terminals and connectors, junction boxes, electronic control modules and wireless control devices. The Company develops seat systems and components for vehicle segments from cars to sport utility vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  1. Broader Scope: Whereas in the past sales coordinator supported the management of the current book of business, the A/BM has lead the principal lead for managing day-to-day activities associated with the current book of business. But having the recent aggressive requirement from customer, technical skills have been required more to proceed/gain business. The Assistant Business Manager will have broader scope of his responsibility for this sense.

Succession planning: Within a few years, the person will have the appropriate skill set, education, and experience to be able to backfill the Business Manager position.    

  1. Support Business Manager for all Commercial, Product Development, Design and Marketing items that align to sales goal with the business plan.
  • Primary Focus: Current book of business of Lexus
  • Secondary focus : Conquest new business at Lexus
  • Primary customer: Lexus
  1. Support new customer development activity with Lexus and be the primary contact person for this account.
  2. Work closely with Program managers for successful launching and engineering changes.
  3. 100% Customer Satisfaction: Offer best service, timely and comprehensive feedback to customer inquiry and quality concerns etc, in compliance with the company strategy and policy.
  4.  Explore the market and set up successful customer network: continue improving customer relationship, explore the market potential and set up customer relationship network so as to ensure EO’s leading position in the market.
  5. Have close relationship with engineering/innovation dept. so that EO can offer timely technical solutions for Lexus.

Most up-to-date marketing analysis to meet company objective.

スキル・資格

  1. University graduate or above
  2. At least 5 years sales/commercial/management experience in automotive components company
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as leadership skills
  4. Fluent both written and spoken English.
  5. Excellent Presentation skills and Good command of office software skills.
  6. Familiar with automotive industry sales and purchasing contracts and system and supplier validation system, such as PPAP, APQP, contract review, product and material releases, etc.

Good knowledge about automotive interior technology. Preferably familiar with automotive leather, fabric and  PVC etc.
