Your new role
The brand has "grown up" and they are now ready to hire the first HR Manager for Japan. Reporting to the global HR team, you will work closely with the Japan President, CFO and local managers to create an excellent workplace for employees. There will be a heavy emphasis on recruitment, as well as daily HR service delivery such as performance management, employee development and labour management. In addition to generalist HR duties you will also work on internal and external communication of the company's unique culture and value proposition.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR Manager with exposure to the retail/fashion industry. You will be a strong communicator in both Japanese and English, and enjoy recruitment and internal communications. The ability to balance both daily HR service delivery with mid to long term planning (especially for recruitment) will be important. A sense of humour and strong empathy/passion for people is a must.
