Our client is a world leader in the automotive industry which has a strong presence across 100 countries. The business is stable and steadily growing, with a firm HR establishment in the Japan HQ.
Your new role
You will be proactively providing HR advisory and consulting to the business while liaising with senior directors in Japan and overseas. Main responsibilities include talent management, employee retention, performance evaluation, employee relations, and day-to-day HR support. This person will serve as a focal point of contact for all HR matters to the employees. The management team in Japan is quite international so it is critical for this person to flexibly support both domestic and international clients.
What you'll need to succeed
A qualified candidate must have minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources in an international organization. Strong operational background in recruitment, training, succession planning, and employee relations is required. Native-level Japanese and business-level English are also required to effectively liaise with Japanese and international leaders.
