English-Japanese bilingual language ability both in writing and verbal communication.
Trouble shooting experience with venders/customers both in Japanese and English.
Strong knowledge and experience of troubleshooting and deployment of servers both Linux OS and server hardware.
Server hardware troubleshooting (HP, Dell, Appro) and experience with iLO or iDRAC.
Understanding of TCP/IP and experience with network related troubleshooting on Linux Strong interest in market data/financial business.
This position is required to work closely with the Operations Engineers in Tokyo as well as with the other company's employees in overseas in the US/Europe.
Must require to understand in detail of entire traffic flow about production systems in APAC region and perform deployment and troubleshooting appropriately.
Must establish and maintain a good relationship with venders in Japan (in Japanese) and overseas (in English).
Physical works (i.e. rack mounting of servers/switches and cabling etc…) at data centers in APAC may be required to maintain the equipment when necessary.
