In addition to the Deskside Services, Service Delivery Management includes:
l Administrative duties for the management of personnel;
l Carry out day to day duties and step in to cover absences;
l Fluent communication in English and Japanese
l Install currently supported Microsoft OS onto a desktop and laptop;
l Load an image onto a desktop and laptop;
l Load standard software applications such as Microsoft Office or other scripted installs;
l Install (unpack, connect to the network and test) standard desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
l Find faults with basic office environment IT related problems (connectivity, application errors, operating system issues);
l Replace components in both desktops and laptops (e.g. hard drives, processors, fans etc.);
Understand more complex desktop and laptop installations and configurations.
・ At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Team and Service Management or equivalent experience
・ At least 5 years of experience in desktop, user support, or equivalent positions, including VIP support.
・ Helpdesk support experience and responsibility, including but not limited PC installation, version update, multi-functional device, printing, voice device, such as blackberry, account administration, and email support
・ Knowledge of Microsoft software including PC OS and servers, such as Windows 2008, 2003, XP, 7 and MS Office, and more
・ Standard Active Directory and Exchange knowledge
・ Telephony, mobile phone, data communication device market trend and technology
・ Project involvement experience in both domestic and international environments
・ Extensive experience and knowledge of ITIL
・ Time management skills to improve the work productivity
・ Business perspective mindset and logical thinking skills
・ Incident management skills
・ Business-level English and native-level Japanese skills are required.
