Reporting to the Head of Enterprise ETL Services As a member of the Global Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) team is responsible for contributing to the definition and management of application/data integration strategy Provide technology vision and leadership and collaborate closely with IT teams to ensure projects are delivered to global standards Contribute to the definition and execution of Takeda's integration strategy and roadmap. Provide technical and organizational leadership in the design definition planning development and regional operation of integration platforms and processes Collaborate with leaders within the EPS team to implement broad integration practices. Management of third parties and partners ensure that third parties and other partners are managed effectively and fairly Assist in the development initiation and maintenance of global/local policies and procedures related to the application/data integration Oversee solution implementations developed on EPS platforms ensuring integration design standards are implemented. Integration solution design/architecture actively participate in regional projects as an integration architect Manage relationship and work of outsourced application development/application support partner Develops and maintains key relationships with the regional IT Business Solution Services groups. Interacts with leadership on a regular basis to review and align regional technology roadmaps project status and demand management. Represents EPS interests related to Managed File Transfer Business to Business Integration Job Scheduling Application monitoring Oversight of existing platforms and processes to deliver required services to meet the expectations developed with stakeholders Oversee regional financial management in the area of responsibility which includes an annual budget and interim updates (LBE’s) track and report actual performance manages variances. Monitor technology landscape for emerging trends. Contribute to an environment that encourages skill growth teamwork and a high level of engagement. Performs analysis design and configuration of solutions according to standards for complex business requirements. Oversees the capture and assignment of user enhancement requests to support one or more solutions. Ensure documentation according to QMS standards policies and procedures. Contributes to detailed roadmap development of complex software or solution systems platforms working directly with the business and other IT groups Owns technical relationships with vendors in support of projects and ongoing operations. Ensures that solutions are designed developed and maintained as part of structured SDLC and ITIL business process Maintains up to date expertise in the solution area assigned and the business areas supported and continuously enhances own skills. Is considered a subject matter expert in the area of expertise.
Bachelor degree or High School degree with 12 years of equivalent work experience
8 + years relevant experiences
8+ years of IT experience including platform administration and integration design/architecture
Experience partnering with business area leaders to plan and deliver projects
Experience with data integration using ETL and scheduling tools is required.
Experience with any of the following toolset is highly desirable: Informatica PowerCenter Informatica Data Integration Hub Tidal Enterprise Scheduler Oracle and SqlServer databases
Prior experience with platform implementation and upgrades is desired
Prior application management/operations experience is desired
