The Global Japanese Practice of KPMG in Singapore is part of a global network of multinational professionals around the world dedicated to assisting Japanese companies succeed in their overseas business. Comprising Japanese and Japanese-speaking professionals, we assist service teams working on the delivery of audit, tax and advisory services to Japanese companies and individuals, helping them to adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory requirements as well as allowing for optimum coordination between Singapore and Japan.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager for our Global Japanese Practice. The Assistant Manager is responsible for providing excellent administrative support services for our team.
The role involves:
Incorporation of Singapore companies and registration of Singapore branches and Representative Offices
Ongoing routine corporate secretarial support services
Individual income tax returns and other matters on individual income tax
Immigration matters (e.g. applying for work passes and permits)
Translations from Japanese to English for work documents
Corporate income tax returns
Assist Audit teams to liaise with Japanese clients
Preparation of seminar materials in Japanese language
The successful candidate should possess the following:-
Have a good command of the Japanese and English language
Minimum 4 years of relevant working experiences in Japanese companies, accounting firms preferred
Knowledge of basic Japanese tax and accounting, at Booking 1st or 2nd grade (Official Business Skill Test) preferred
