Your new role
Reporting directly to the Head of Japan, you will recruit for Graduates, Recruitment Consultants, and corporate services staff across all divisions and locations in our Japan operation. You will be responsible for attracting and qualifying entry-level to senior applicants, conducting preliminary interviews, and managing the hiring process with our managers. Not only will you always be thinking of new and better ways to attract and assess potential candidates, but your keen eye for talent will enable you to pre-screen and select the best people for Hays. You will develop relationships with appropriate colleges and universities as well as other organizations across Japan and internationally; following up on referrals; and promoting Hays as the agency of choice. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also support the implementation of our social media recruitment strategy that will drive internal recruitment for our business.
Ideally, you will have 2 years' experience in a recruitment position, preferably in a sales environment. Although you will be responsible for the recruitment for Japan, experience working in other markets will also be considered. You will embody the Hays values - Passionate About People, Inquisitive, Expert, and Ambitious, and will be a positive ambassador of Hays. You will have superior networking and communication skills, a strong sense of urgency, be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and be a quick learner. You must have strong bi-lingual skills in English and Japanese.
