To oversee and direct the distributors’ product support team that provides advanced troubleshooting and technical support to customers. This is to achieve a superior level of customer satisfaction so that customers’ needs are met. To interact with key account customers directly and provide the necessary support for application engineering service and quality tasks.
1) Quality Assurance: Identify report on quality cases with key customers in Japan. Track cases with quality department in DEUTZ AG DEUTZ Asia Pacific Service and ensure key customers will get the adequate replies solutions in time. Develop and maintain effective quality feedback processes to support manufacturer so as to ensure improvement in product quality. Document examine and report quality issues their reasons and suggests possible improvements to the manufacturer.
2) Service Support: Coach train the distributors’ product support department staff to provide the highest level of service to customers. Provide and actively build processes to be the key communication link between the distributors’ service department key accounts and the manufacturer (DEUTZ AG). Track all 0 hour failures with key accounts. Track all critical field failures with key accounts. Ensure reporting is within the agreed time frames from key accounts / distributor to DEUTZ and solutions are reported within the agreed time frame from DEUTZ to distributors / key accounts. Develop a thorough and structured approach to planning monitoring and resolution of open technical issues. Investigate diagnoses liaise negotiate and report on repetitive product failures where unusual failures have occurred requiring investigation. Handling Warranty claims submitted by Japan Distributor Tracking Monitoring Warranty claims status and update the status back to DEUTZ Asia Pacific Service Dept
3) New application tasks: Assist in application engineering tasks for new applications as required To join and assist DEUTZ Asia Pacific colleagues with installation checks Track rectify issues with new installations To attend technical clarification meetings between application engineering and key accounts lead and moderate the meeting and follow up To be the customer interface for application engineering
4) Regular operational tasks: Support in technical meetings between DEUTZ and key customers / distributor Manage and distribute all technical information received from the manufacturer to the distributors’ service department ＆ key accounts Visit customers on a regular basis in order to resolve any outstanding technical issues and gather feedback on the machine performance. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
・Tertiary education in Mechatronic or Electrical engineering with at least 8 years’ relevant
・Must be familiar with the Tier 4 diesel engine application incl. electronic control and
exhaust after treatment systems
・Hands on application / service experience required
・Good team player with ability to work independently
・Good interpersonal and communication skills
・Must be able to speak Japanese and English
・Frequent traveling required within and outside Japan
