Golden opportunity to join a global security software company as Technical Support Engineer. As a technical specialist, your job will be to provide strong technical support to customers and partners, perform research on technical issues, and manage multiple tools and service requests. To succeed in this role you will have experience with UNIX and Linux operating systems and several years' support experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong technical and product support to customers and partners
  • Perform research on technical issues as reported by customers/partners
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support to customers/partners as related to security products
  • Coordinate the research, escalation, and resolution of technical issues logged by customers/partners via phone, mail, or web portal
  • Manage multiple tools and service requests

Requirements:

  • Experience with UNIX and Linux operating systems
  • Strong understanding of networking - routers and switches, plus knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, LDAP
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL) and LDAP services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate at multiple levels with customers, e.g., technical/management
  • Advanced writing and verbal skills
  • Network or security related certifications preferred
  • Native level Japanese proficiency and understanding of Japanese culture; English skills (TOEIC 750+)
  • 3-5 years' support experience; 3-5 years' networks products/environment experience
