-Responsible for identifying, prospecting, closing and growing new and existing account business
- Attain revenue targets and achieve ‘soft’ targets
- Ensure regional sales team readiness via sales enablement and certifications
- Establish specific enablement process for product and service as required
- Engage with marketing functions in APJ/regionally to drive program alignment with sales efforts and market opportunities
- Assist marketing to ensure success and measure performance on product specific activities such as events, launches etc.
- Business leader and consolidation point for Cloud Security Solutions across Japan
- Determining sales strategies and short term business plans for immediate pipeline build up and revenue growth
- Participate in and help drive business review process and cadence at the regional level with the inclusion of requisite stakeholders
- Track and report product and service performance on regular basis including linearity, forecasts, large deals and sales/product escalations
- Understand and manage product and service readiness and availability across APJ/region and engage with business to ensure regions have maximum opportunity to expand portfolio
- Prior experience in a Security Sales Specialist/technical role
- Strong technical and product/solution background in Security/Cloud Security is required to understand the products and services
- Minimum 5 years of success in an IT Security professional sales role with demonstrated face-to-face, consultative services selling, ‘self-starter’ capabilities, and a solid network of prospect relationships
- Cross functional team collaboration experience is essential and demonstrable experience will be critical
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in a networking and/or security field
