Leadership and Management:

  • Partner with senior management to develop and implement firm-wide vision, strategy, methodology, process and governance framework for all aspects of accessibility affairs.
  • Partner with, educate, and influence executive leadership.
  • Serve as lead interface with the regulatory community for all areas of Accessibility Affairs.
  • Responsible for directly managing a small team, and providing leadership to aligned teams responsible for executing the accessibility agenda.
  • Expected to lead the respective teams in a positive and constructive manner, encouraging and motivating others, and providing guidance where necessary.
  • Partner with senior management and HR Executives to set adequate and measurable goals / objectives for the program
  • Provide senior management advice on accessibility issues in strategic decision making and help guide management to see a global view of the regulatory, people and policy matters.
  • Provide clear, concise and objective guidance to management and comprehensive summary reports on progress and status against plan.

Responsibilities: 

  • Launch the Accessibility Affairs Department. Must be able to effectively provide leadership, guidance and influence in a matrixed environment.

  • Partner with Affirmative Action and appropriate Control teams to maintain polices in compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Propose, solicit feedback and buy-in to implement the appropriate governance framework for the initiative, and operationalize various aspects of accessibility.
  • Partner with the HR Executives to assure proper escalation of accessibility risk issues within Firm-wide governance framework. 
  • Demonstrate ROI, and measure progress against the contribution and initiative of the accessibility program.  

スキル・資格

 

Qualifications:

  • 10 years experience in a senior leadership role, managing Diversity & Inclusion Programs
  • Extensive current knowledge and understanding of accessibility standards, regulatory principles and rules.
  • Proven leadership and ability to effect change within a large matrixed organization.
  • Current experience of operating successfully with Executive level individuals, improving accessibility standards and practices across multiple business functions (e.g. technology, human resources and real estate).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across the business/functions.
