Job Summary

Human Resources Generalist is a HR professional who work closely with an organisation’s leaders in order to develop an HR agenda that closely supports the overall aims of the organisation.

The Human Resources Generalist position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The Human Resources Generalist serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues. The successful Human Resources Generalist will act as an employee champion and change agent. The Human Resources Generalist assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the Human Resources Generalist seeks to develop integrated solutions. The Human Resources Generalist formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The Human Resources Generalist may include international human resource responsibilities.

Recruiting

The HR Generalist will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, implementing recruitment and selection initiatives with focus on recruiting, identifying the hiring needs of user departments and providing appropriate recruitment recommendation and support. He / She will nurture relationships with prospective talent and hiring managers through managing the full-cycle recruitment process and maintain the recruitment efficiency and effectiveness by performing the following duties:

  • Develop talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain talent
  • Manage end-to-end process in recruitment activities from sourcing to new hire on-boarding
  • Develop effective recruitment channels and liaise with external vendors to meet timely recruitment needs
  • Provide professional HR advice and consultation to line mangers on the trend of talent acquisition
  • Manage various recruitment projects such as job fairs and career talks
  • Track record of strong results in the delivery of qualified candidates/fulfillment of open vacancies

HR Generalist Role

The HR Generalist will also assist in coordinating various staff activities and ad hoc HR projects.

  • Provide comprehensive HR services including manpower planning, benefits administration, performance management, training and development, employee relations and internal communication.
  • Maintain a strong communication network with all levels of stakeholders in the office.
  • Take a proactive role in service improvements to meet the department’s objective to become the preferred business partners of internal customers.
  • Provide value-adding HR services to different business units.
  • Facilitate the monthly payroll process.
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures adhere to business development, in accordance with the ever growing and, changing needs of the company.
  • Leave management.
  • Assist the Manager to formulate and evaluate the effectiveness of the HR workflow, process and standard in accordance to the requirements of different projects.
  • HR Orientation for the new hired.

 

スキル・資格

Job Requirement:

  • have a degree with at least 5 years solid experience in full spectrum of HR work experience
  • have good capability to work with diverse stakeholders in a diverse working culture with cross-functional teams; from senior management to junior staff
  • possess good business acumen, exceptional interpersonal and communications skills as well as keenness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • possess excellent command in written and spoken English and Japanese
  • Mature, self-motivated, independent with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Applications
  • Immediate available candidate is highly preferred
