Responsibilities

As a recruitment consultant, you will be working on two sides - client companies and candidate side.

  • On the client side your role is:
    • To contact and develop new client companies within your industry focus.
    • To clearly explain our firm’s unique selling proposition and negotiate the terms and conditions of our service agreement.
    • To establish a deep partnership with your automotive clients in order to become an expert on the candidate profiles which fit your clients’ needs and help them become stronger in terms of human capital.
  • On the candidate side your role is:
    • To identify suitable candidates within our existing database which could be suitable for the searches you are working on.
    • To actively identify and meet candidates in the market who may not yet be in our database for specific searches.
    • You will need to listen well and understand clearly the needs and wants they have for their careers and to guide them in the best direction to help them achieve those career aspirations.
    • Establish partnerships with your candidates over the short, medium and long term.

Successful Candidate Skill-Set

  • Recruitment experience heavily preferred but not necessary if you demonstrate strong B2B  sales experience
  • A university degree or equivalent
  • A success driven, competitive personality
  • A team player with strong communication skills and multi-tasking abilities, a proactive and positive attitude to work.
  • Business level English
  • Business level Japanese and solid understanding of Japanese business culture and customs
