Specific Responsibilities:

To deliver the solution to customers within Japanese markets, in compliance with customer requirements 

  • Support pre-sales team in performing quotation, schedules and feasibility study
  • Complete and validate functional specifications with the customer
  • Write project management plan and ensure of its right monitoring
  • Manage project risks and related contingency plans
  • Manage changes (impacts and scope evolution requested by the customer or up sell) during the project
  • Deliver projects to customer in performing all relative activities (acceptance..) and report internally and externally on project progress and issues
  • Provide feedback to the Industrialization and Deployment teams (SID/FID) with information from the field in order to improve Solution and Services offer
  • Manage procurement (hardware, third party or any other sub-contracting means)
  • Manage sub-contracting
  • Ensure configuration management and archives
  • Ensure handover to the support team or specific internal/external interface

Drives the project by ensuring customer satisfaction, committed time and quality, project profitability 

  • Grow long-term relationships with clients by continually seeking to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Anticipate clients needs and propose alternative delivery solutions or business solution in cooperation with sales team
  • Manage and achieve revenue goals set for projects, and ensure project profitability
  • Apply quality processes and using project management tools deployed in Services departments, in particular
  • Track closely the time and costs spent on the project and the Estimate to Completion (ETC)
  • Manage billing milestones and revenue recognition tasks within project work breakdown structure (WBS)
  • Maintain satisfaction within assigned project team and workload balancing

For Operated Services Delivery (OSD) only:
To deliver solutions compliant with OSE production team requirements and ensure services will be operated easily, in a cost effective manner to maximize revenue



  • Promote the operated services strategy during the pre-sales
  • Manage integration of the solution into the OSE operational framework
  • Assist Service Delivery Manager in building the best operational strategy
  • Coordinating the implementation of the content of the Operational Requirements Specification (ORS) document
  • Review user experience on each use case and ensure optimization
  • Understanding service deployment (card profiles of subscriber, expected penetration, marketing actions, BAP validations, etc)
  • Ensure internal handover to the production team by leading Support and Maintenance Input Review (SAMIR)
  • Be informed of the performance of solutions in production
  • Coordinate with Service Delivery Manager production team presentation to customer and responsibility handover


  • Degree/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, managing international projects with remote stakeholders including partners
  • Possess capability to successfully drive complex customer project execution
  • Project management skills mainly on Software Solutions (projects involving Unix, Java, Oracle)
  • Knowledge of the Telecom industry is a mandatory
  • Possess certifications: PMP certification, Prince2 practitioner or related
  • Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Japanese language (JLPT 1) is mandatory
  • Customer oriented
