Project Manager - Engineer

As a program manager you will: 

• Plan and manage the execution of the overall program;
• Track program deliverables, profitability, budget and timing;
• Report the overall status of the program within the organization on a regular basis;
• Support customer regular meetings and overall customer communication;
• Work closely with Application Engineering and Sales in order to identify and address customer requests;
• Identify potential risks and establish mitigation plans;
• Conduct regular meetings with the project team;
• Organize and conduct internal milestone meetings (Gate Reviews);

 4) Skills/Experience 

• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
• Business level Japanese is a must. Candidate must be able to communicate to the customer and/or company’s strategic partners in Japanese via phone or by emails.
• Technical background in Engineering;
• Good communication skills;
• Work experience with different cultures;
• Work experience with Japanese car manufacturers or automotive parts manufacturers;

Educational and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent; or higher.
• 3 yrs or more proven experience as a project team leader or as a program manager with Japanese car manufacturers or parts suppliers.
