PR/096368 | CAD / Mold Cutting Engineer in Thai Binh

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD drawings for products, molds, tooling, and fixtures

• Design molds, cutting tools, jigs, and production equipment

• Operate and support CNC machining for mold and tooling fabrication

• Review drawings for manufacturability; verify dimensions, tolerances, and materials

• Calculate product weight, volume, and material consumption for costing and planning

• Troubleshoot production issues with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams

• Support new product development, prototypes, and engineering changes

• Optimize tooling and machining processes; maintain drawing revisions and technical records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field

• Have experience in CAD design, mold design, tooling, or CNC machining

• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent

• Hands-on CNC experience; knowledge of mold design, tooling, and machining methods

• Able to read drawings, tolerances, and GD&T; calculate weight, volume, and material usage

• Understanding of steel/metal properties

• Basic English or Chinese for technical documents and communication

• Analytical, detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team

Preferred

• CAD/CAM and CNC programming experience

• Background in steel products, metal fabrication, or mold manufacturing

• Knowledge of product costing and material estimation
